The introduction of new carbon technology unique to Daiwa has produced a parabolic-action rod that is incredibly thin, yet overwhelmingly powerful. The secret is HVF (High Volume Fibre). Combining precise resin control with unidirectional HVF graphite fibre, Daiwa has produced a blank with maximum graphite density, which means a lighter, far stronger rod blank.
Light, responsive and crisp in action, the HVF blank is unrivalled. With all this extra power, the join in the rod features Daiwa’s V Joint. This allows the ferrule to flex, eliminating weak or flat spots, ensuring the 3 piece blank matches the flex, power and responsiveness of a one-piece blank.
The rod is fitted with a Breakaway Bionic Finger to assist the Angler to throw harder with no pressure on their finger and increase their distance and accuracy when casting.
